Source Type Bending magnet Optical System Mirror: Platinum coated Zerodur flat mirror bent to focus in the vertical; mirror is located 14 meters from the source and has a focal point at 18 meters from the source.
Monochromator: Bent crystal monochromator with Ge(220) crystals asymmetrically cut to collect the horizontal and focus it 18 meters from the source. Experimental Apparatus Radiation hutch; six circle Huber diffractometer; ion chambers; Bicron scintillation detectors. Computer System Hardware & Software X10B is interfaced to a DSP-6002 crate controller connected to a UNIX/PC running SPEC and CPLOT.
