Schedule

X-ray: Template time cancelled for Tuesday 3/10/09, 2000 - 2400 hrs.
Time is returned to normal operations.

VUV: Timing run cancelled for Monday 3/9/09, 1800 - 2400 hrs
Time is returned to normal operations.

Machine Status

Both rings are running well.

Proposed Schedule for May-August 2009

Emil Zitvogel showed a draft of the May-August 2009 schedule (see attached file)
Please send Emil (zitvogel@bnl.gov) your comments as soon as possible.

Labs and Safety

Andrew Ackerman gave an update on the review of the labs. The deadline is this
Friday 3/6/09 and all but a few will be finished.

There was an injury when somebody fell off of a step stool at a beamline. Step
stools should have rubber feet or bottom to prevent slipping. Look around beamlines
for stools with this problem.

A lifting shackle that was suspected to be counterfeit was found. If you have one
which has no manufacturer name or trademark, or says "Korea" on it please report it.
