X-ray: No special requests.

VUV: U. of Florida group is planning to come for timing runs during July.
Their proposed timing schedule is:

July 10: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned [1800 – 2400 Scheduled Timing]
July 11: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 12: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 13: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned [1800 – 2400 Scheduled Timing]
July 17: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch compressed [1800 – 2400 Studies]
July 18: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 19: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 20: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 21: 1200 – 2400 Timing 7 bunch compressed [0800 – 2400 Studies]
July 22: 1200 – 2400 Timing 7 bunch compressed [0000 – 2400 Studies]

Machine Status

Both rings are running well.

May Shutdown

Experimental water and compressed air will be turned off on Mon 5/4/09 at
1000 hrs. Water and air systems will be turned back on 5/18/09.

Electrical Substations 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be shut down on Saturday 5/9/09.

Operations Coordinators will be on daytime staffing only during shutdown starting
5/4/09. 24 hr staffing resumes 5/18/09.


X-ray Shutdown begins 0600 hrs, Mon 5/4/09

VUV Shutdown begins 0600 hrs, Mon 5/4/09

Exp. Water & compressed air off 1000 hrs, Mon 5/4/09

Water & Air Systems on - Full Op 0800 hrs, Mon 5/18/09

LN2 and GN2 off 0800 Mon 5/11/09 - 1700 Thurs 5/14/09)

Booster Commissioning 0800 hrs, Mon 5/18/09 - Tues 5/26/09

VUV Commissioning Mon 5/18/09 - Tues 5/26/09

X-Ray Commissioning Tues 5/26/09 - Fri 6/5/09

VUV Full Operations Tues 5/26/09

X-ray Full Operations Fri 6/5/09


Automatic LN2 filler will be installed over the shutdown.

Plug doors to be opened: X7-8, X11-12, X17-18, X25-26, X27-28 and X29-30.
