X-ray: No special requests.

VUV: Timing run cancelled for Monday 6/22/09, 1800 - 2400 hrs
Time is returned to normal operations.

U. of Florida group is planning to come for timing runs during July.
Their proposed timing schedule is:

July 10: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned [1800 – 2400 Scheduled Timing]
July 11: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 12: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 13: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned [1800 – 2400 Scheduled Timing]
July 17: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch compressed [1800 – 2400 Studies]
July 18: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 19: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 20: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 21: 1200 – 2400 Timing 7 bunch compressed [0800 – 2400 Studies]

Machine Status

Network problems starting early Saturday morning 6/13/09, x-ray & VUV refills
postponed. Network restored before noon.

VUV noise reported Sunday 6/14/09 by U2. Investigation of longitudinal feedback
system done yesterday 6/16/09 during Studies.

Proposed Schedule for September-December 2009

Emil Zitvogel showed a draft of the September-December 2009 schedule (see attached file)

TV monitor

Ch 14 now displays a real-time monitor of the vacuum pressure inside
the x-ray and VUV rings.

July 4 Break

There will no overhead lights on the NSLS floor (hutch and hall lights will
be available) during the July 4th holiday: Wednesday, 2000 hrs, 7/1/09 - Monday
morning, 7/6/09.

Water systems will be turned off starting Wednesday, 7/1/09, at approximately
2100 hrs. The water systems won’t come on until Tuesday, 7/7/09, at approximately
0800 hrs.

Automatic LN2 fill system will be down 6/29/09 - 7/6/09 in order for control unit
to be sent back to the company for the repair of a defective solenoid valve. There
will be the capability of filling dewars manually.
