X-ray: Template time cancelled for Tuesday 6/9/09, 2000 - 2400 hrs.
Time is returned to normal operations.

VUV: U. of Florida group is planning to come for timing runs during July.
Their proposed timing schedule is:

July 10: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned [1800 – 2400 Scheduled Timing]
July 11: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 12: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 13: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned [1800 – 2400 Scheduled Timing]
July 17: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch compressed [1800 – 2400 Studies]
July 18: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 19: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 20: 1800 – 0230 Timing 7 bunch detuned
July 21: 1200 – 2400 Timing 7 bunch compressed [0800 – 2400 Studies]

Machine Status

X-ray ring has Beam Observations tomorrow (6/4/09). All x-ray beamlines are
encouraged to look.

Automatic LN2 System - Payman Mortazavi

The new automatic LN2 filling station is now working. A camera pointing
at the LN2 fill station can be accessed at http://lncam.nsls.bnl.gov.
All users wishing to use it must first be trained. Contact Walter De Boer
(x7168 or deboer@bnl.gov) or Rich Freudenberg (x4100 or freudenb@bnl.gov)
for training.
