Weekly Users' Meeting Minutes -- August 12, 2009

Schedule

X-ray: Studies Tuesday 8/18/09, 0500 - 1200 hrs. - low current

VUV: No special requests.

Machine Status

A water pump leaked on Sunday and a substitute was put into operation.

NSLS II Construction - Soil Compacting

The Vibratory Roller will be used in the NW corner of the site. Work is for
Tuesday - Friday, 8/18 - 8/21. On each day, the work will be intermittent,
fairly evenly spaced throughout the day, at most about 3 times per day, for
about 20 mins each time.

Ring Current Signal

Jen Bohon had reported losing the ring current signal. The NSLS will look
into it.

LN2 Nitrogen Fill Station

LN2 dewars can now be left at the fill station unattended. Users must be trained
and adhere to the guidelines to do so.
