Frightful Weather Doesn't Deter Ticks
To follow up on a question about ticks at the recent safety meeting, here's a link to information on how to protect yourself from tick diseases.
If you think it's too cold for ticks in December, think again. This chart, from Bob Selvey, Safety and Health Services Division, shows that adult ticks are still around at this time of the year.
