- Potential hazards, controls and requirements to be followed regarding the use of radio frequency and microwave radiation are detailed in the Radiofrequency/Microwave Radiation Subject Area. This Subject Area covers the frequency range of 30 kHz to 300 GHz for instruments such as fixed or portable RF/microwave emitters, particle accelerators, induction heaters, and certain power supplies.
- Inventories and surveys of NSLS sources shall be maintained by the NSLS ES&H Coordinator in collaboration with the NSLS Electrical Systems Group and may be found in the Attachment below.
- The NSLS Equipment Identification System (EIS) database shall document the maintenance schedule of this equipment.
