Light Sources Directorate ESH Improvement Committee

1. Charge

   The Committee examines ESH issues in all aspects of the Light Sources Directorate workplace with the goal of suggesting improvements to management in the safety environment and culture of the Light Sources Directorate.

2. Membership

   The membership of the Committee will be appointed for a one year term and shall include a cross-section of the Directorate staff with emphasis at the working level. The Committee membership currently consists of:

   • L. Stiegler (ESH) (ex-officio)
   • M. Caruso (Beam Line Development and Support)
   • R. Church (Control Room/Operations)
   • R. D'Alsace (Electrical Systems)
   • F. Lincoln (NSLS-II Vacuum)
   • H. Robinson (PRT Member)
   • C. Sanchez-Hanke (Science Program Support)
   • R. Sikora (NSLS-II RF R&D)
   • P. Singh (Linac)

   Annually the committee will select a Chair and a recording secretary for a one year term.

3. Meeting Frequency

   The Committee shall meet quarterly, or more frequently at the request of its members or Directorate Management.

4. Reports

   Reports to the NSLS ESH&Q Manager
