Xinguo Hong

Please welcome Dr. Xinguo Hong (X pronounced sh) to NSLS. Xinguo will be working as a science associate in the Life and Environmental Sciences Division. His primary responsibility will be to support protein solution scattering experiments and to develop the capability of automatic sample handling and data processing for these experiments at beamline X9. Xinguo received his Ph.D. in 1992 from the Institute of Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has since worked at various synchrotron sources around the world, most recently at APS and CHESS, utilizing X-ray diffraction and scattering to study the structures of various materials.
