Workshop #1 at the NSLS Users' Meeting

Better Ways to See the Light: Advanced Detectors for Synchrotron Radiation

Location: Bldg. 555, Chemistry, Hamilton

Date: May 17, 2004

Organizers:
Peter Siddons, BNL (siddons@bnl.gov)
Gianluigi De Geronimo, BNL (degeronimo@bnl.gov)

Description: The need for improvements in the capabilities of detectors for synchrotron radiation applications is becoming more evident as accelerators and beamlines continue to improve. This workshop will bring together detector developers, developers of detector-related software and users to try and foster a productive dialog and encourage such developments.
